Machete Kites is the premiere Kiteboarding (or kitesurfing) school in Panama and Central America. Machete Kites traces its history 9 years to the beginning of the sport making us worldwide pioneers in the Kiteboarding industry.
Our instructors are affiliated to International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO), which is an international organization that regulates the Kiteboarding industry by making students’ safety a priority.
During Kiteboarding season, which is November through April, we operate out of our headquarters in Punta Chame, Panama. We have also worked in different locations such as Cabarete (Dominican Republic), Crandon Park and Dania Beach (Miami, Florida), Adicora, Margarita and Los Roques (Venezuela), San Andres, Cartagena, Barranquilla (Colombia) and other locations in Costa Rica as well as in other countries.
One of our main goals is to keep our students and riders, up to date with all the latest news and trends within the Kiteboarding industry..
